Amr Salama is an internationally acclaimed film director, writer and producer whose work spans award-winning features, hit platform series, commercials, music videos and documentaries.
He created, wrote, produced and directed Paranormal, Egypt's first Netflix original. His films include Asmaa, Excuse My French, Sheikh Jackson and Extracurricular. He co-directed Tahrir 2011, winner of the UNESCO Award at Venice, and directed and curated the Arabic version of Saturday Night Live.
A member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, a juror for the International Emmy Awards, a Webby Award winner and a bestselling author with more than 4 million followers online. His Founding Day film for Saudia won Silver for Best National Holiday Campaign at the 2025 Athar Awards. He is represented in North America by CAA.
